Our story began in Fayetteville, NC. We are a military family who dreamed of living the simple life on our own homestead one day. We felt a need to get away from all the commercialism that is shoved down our throats all day by the world around us and just focus on living off the land. We decided to make a move to Iowa in 2019 and purchase a 100 year old farmhouse on 4.8 acres. We are passionate about homesteading and desire to learn as much as we can about becoming self-sufficient.
